About Me

I am an enthusiastic bilingual qualified primary school teacher. A university graduate (History of Art). I obtained full teaching qualifications in my native France (including being a key stage 2 specialist and Special Educational Needs).
In Britain, I hold QTS and teach as a supply teacher and a private tutor.

My experience working with left-behind-children has taught me that with a perfectly tailored plan, any pupil can reach his full potential. I am passionate about teaching to provide this opportunity for the children under my care.
My teaching experience has taught me that every child is able to achieve much more than they think possible. As a private tutor I have taught children who have fallen behind or are struggling in their work.

The virtues of private tuition for me are that I can tailor the programme to the specific needs of the student and I can apply a suitable rigour to teaching. Under my care my pupils achieved better results than they or their parents had expected or hoped for.

For me, there is nothing better than the pride and joy of a student satisfied that they have attained all that they could.

My Experience

I have taught in year 5 and 6 in my native France. I also designed a pedagogic game to enrich children's vocabulary which is still in use by teachers in French schools in Paris.

Since moving to England I have been a supply teacher and a private tutor, teaching children of all ages from Reception to Year 8.

For the last two terms, I was part of Cardinal Newman Secondary School's Learning Support Department as a supply SEN Teaching Assistant. During this period, I worked with Year 7 and 8 students with Special Needs.
